Amalgam

Core build up 

Due to aggressive bruxism, the patient had broken off various cusps on the posterior cusps. 

​

Placed pins and built up with amalgam which were later restored with PFM and an occlusal guard was made.

The patient is a Removable Partial Denture user who lost anterior teeth due to aggressive periodontitis and chronic bone loss. 

​

The patient could not afford a new partial that could have added #7, so after a full endodontic testing, the fractured composite was restored with counters to fit current RPD.
